Acceptable use and export controls

Prohibited end uses

We will not arrange compute for:

• anything that violates EU, UK or US export controls or sanctions;
• weapons of mass destruction, or military end uses in embargoed countries;
• model training for, or on behalf of, entities headquartered in US Country Group D:5 or Macau without the required licences;
• illegal content;
• cryptocurrency mining, unless the provider permits it.

Screening

We screen every buyer for parent company, ultimate owner and end use. We may ask for an end-use certificate, and we may decline a request or end an introduction at any point. See sovereignty and compliance.
